Annie's Attic
A full week residency. Annie's Attic is an extension of Lou Ann's skills as a storyteller as she invites children t visit her in her attic. Surrounded by quilts, teddy bears, dusty furniture, and an occasional mouse, students listen to tales and learn to understand the importance of preserving family history through the use of photographs and journals or diaries. Students are encouraged to go back home and record their own history. Annie also encourages children to begin keeping their own journal or scrapbook to aid them in learning about and recovering this timeless past-time. This is a unique experience that will always be remembered!
